Candidate will be handling all facets of employee and labor relations, including interpreting and providing advice and counsel regarding university policies, union contracts, and applicable employment laws and regulations; investigating and resolving employment disputes; providing guidance regarding layoffs, terminations, and corrective action; designing and delivering training for employees, supervisors, managers, and local human resources staff pertaining to employee relations and related compliance; as well as keeping abreast of changes in applicable policies, contracts, laws and regulations.
