The aggressively growing Portal division of the Midwest's leading consultative technology partner is looking to expand our family with top-tier talent for a SQL/Business Intelligence Architect.
This position maybe located for the right candidate in any of our 19 AOS locations which include, Kansas City,Omaha,St. Louis, Des Moines,Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Dallas, or Little Rock.
The database architect will consult with clients on the design of the backend Microsoft SQL database applications to meet functional, performance, reliability, and availability requirements. This position requires individual to have sound knowledge of architecting complex database design for proper integration with applications for current and future technologies. The individual must maintain state-of-the-art knowledge of technologies, planning, design, and analysis methodologies.
Job Responsibilities
Development
Responsible for the overall design and implementation of client projects for Business Intelligence (BI) platform based on Microsoft SQL Server/SharePoint tool sets. In-depth experience with design, implementation, and optimization using Microsoft SQL Server
In-depth experience with MOLAP Cube design and implementation using SQL Server Analysis Services
In-depth experience with design and implementation of scalable SQL Server Reporting Services platforms.
In-depth experience with implementation of scalable SharePoint portals that integrate with Reporting Services, PerformancePoint, Dashboard Designer, and Excel Services.
Experience with web part development, management and troubleshooting, deploying and supporting
Experience with Designer Workflows and InfoPath forms
Experience with SharePoint Designer
Experience with Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Search, Enterprise Content Management
Experience with Features and Site Definition Development
Experience with SharePoint Installation and Configuration a plus
Experience with User Profiles Setup a plus
Experience with Search Service Setup a plus
Experience with Meta-data services a plus
Anticipate issues and provide technical solutions for assigned projects to help minimize project risk
Maintain current industry knowledge of trends best practices, guidelines, standards and technical expertise in BI, SharePoint and web technology.
Follow standard software development methodology. Obtain appropriate approvals, participate in reviews and provide supporting documentation for projects.
Collaborate with design architects and project manager to ensure business requirements contain sufficient and appropriate detail to design and develop solutions that meet the project scope.
Create and maintain documentation of best practices specific to project needs.
Provide support off-hours if major production problems occur or for project rollouts.
Assist in estimating work efforts.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 8 years’ experience designing and developing complex database environments
Minimum 8 years of full life cycle SQL Server Data Warehouse / OLAP design and implementation, with experience on SQL Server 2005, 2010 and 2012
Minimum 8 years’ experience with MOLAP Cube design and implementation using SQL Server Analysis Services
Minimum 8 years’ experience with implementation of scalable SharePoint portals that integrate with Reporting Services, PerformancePoint, Dashboard Designer, and Excel Services.
Minimum of 8 year’s application development/design in any 2 or 3 tier systems.
Minimum of 8 years of applied experience with Internet/Intranet technologies, platforms and integration with backend systems and databases.
Must have working knowledge in SharePoint 2007, 2010 and 2013 for collaboration, search, content management, InfoPath, workflow using Visual Studio and SharePoint Designer.
Must have working knowledge in ASP.Net, C#, WCF, Web Services development and/or other leading web languages (JQuery, JavaScript, JSON, XML, XSL, HTML 5, CSS 3, and HTTP)
Must have ability to work on various Windows platforms.
Must have experience with Active Directory
Must have experience with source management utilities
Must have BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, MIS or similar course area or equivalent work experience.
Must have current knowledge of industry leading tools, best practices, and advanced Web design standards.
Should have knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Certifications required are – MCITP: Database Administrator 2008, MCITP: Database Developer 2008 and MCITP: Business Intelligence Developer 2008.
