Overview:
An innovative and fast-growing IT company is seeking an experienced Microsoft SharePoint Administrator with server administration and design experience to join our expanding IT staff.
Responsibilities:
The candidate will be responsible for supporting both internal and customer systems based on Microsoft Windows Server, SharePoint 2007/2010, and Vmware virtualization. This includes Windows server maintenance, SharePoint design, backups, email administration, desktop support, technical documentation, and pre/post sales support.
Candidate will join an award-winning IT team which supports both small and large IT environments for government and commercial customers.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree
Must have current Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) credential with training preferred in:
SharePoint Administration 2010; and/or
SharePoint Developer 2010
Server Administrator;
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Education / Experience:
At least 5 years of applicable experience in a similar IT environment.
Minimum of two years of SharePoint administration and/or design experience with at least 6 months hands-on with SharePoint 2010.
Demonstrated understanding and working knowledge of networking protocols, VMware, and Microsoft Active Directory.
Desirable experience includes working with and supporting Citrix, familiarity with federal security standards, and formal SDLC methodologies and Configuration Management.
Must be flexible, adaptable to change, and able to multi task in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to qualify for federal security clearances.
