Assistant Dean for Strategic Initiatives
The candidate to work with the Dean and the faculty to create, grow, and foster online, executive, and continuing professional education programs beyond J.D. and LL.M. degree offerings. Will be responsible for casting a vision for new and innovative programs that will serve current and future generations of adult learners, while maintaining the exceptional academic quality of a Law School educational experience. MBA or J.D. or comparable advanced degree is required. Must be able to solve problems efficiently and creatively, and collaborate effectively across University, Law School, and potential student constituencies. Should have extensive and progressive leadership experience in design, development, and delivery of online, executive, and continuing professional education programs. Must be able to relate well and inspire confidence from Law School and University leaders, as well as national online providers, potential students, and employers. Should preferably have Prior experience with instructional design theories and methodologies. Experience or education in marketing to ensure enrollment growth and sustainability is desired. Prior experience in working with employers and researching employment needs to identify gaps in training and education that may inspire new programming is preferred. Experience or education in meeting the needs of today’s adult learners is desired.
