Looking for a Python and SQL Tutor.
Hello,
I am looking for a Python and database tutor for regular weekly sessions.
I ‘m employed in a large engineering consultancy (civil engineering) and I am working a lot with data and data visualization. I am currently in the process of learning Python, SQL, API interactions and data visualization through Python. I have started developing small applications and dashboards that interact with an SQL database. I have quickly realized that I am running into issues that are very hard for me to solve as a beginner. I need guidance from someone who has experience and who can explain to me all the basic concepts, as well as help me trouble shoot issues that I am running into.
The tutor should be able to explain all basic/intermediate concepts of Python and Databases (SQL), as well as to guide in my learning and help me solve problems. I dont expect to learn all of this overnight, so this would be an ongoing relationship lasting for several months or longer. Very good English is required. Tutoring experience is required.
Here are some requirements:
1) Experience with using Python (understanding of both front end and back end development, API interactions, python libraries like pandas, numpy etc. , machine learning would be an advantage).
2) Experience in working with databases (MYSQL preferably). Mongo DB and Graph databases would be an advantage.
3) Experience with visualizing data. Experience with Plotly and Dash would be a great advantage!
4) Some tutoring experience. I need the person to be able to explain concepts.
5) Experience with Building Information Modelling would be an interesting benefit but is not required.
