Randstad Technologies is currently seeking a Programmer Analyst to provide and utilize technical skills across the full life cycle of Programming requests (Analysis, Design, Programming, Documentation, Testing, Implementation and Support). We are seeking candidates with SharePoint for new and/or existing applications, conversion of existing systems and the expansion of SharePoint footprint within the company.
Main responsibilities in this role will be:
1) Designing, developing, customizing, upgrading, converting and supporting the .net applications and SharePoint to replace exisiting systems and addressing additional business application requests. While providing the technical analysis to enhance current business processes.
2) Collaborate with business partners to understand needs to jointly develop solutions.
3) Researching existing and emerging SharePoint tools, Strategies, and 3rd party Add-ons.
4) Providing end-user support services, as needed, including training, documentation preparation, troubleshooting and consultation.
Background Qualifications:
1) BS Degree with a Computer Science focus and 3-5 years of development experience.
2) Prefer candidates with 2 years of experience developing and supporting applications on SharePoint 2007/2010 platform with a familiarity with some of the following components : Web Parts, Templates, Forms, Content Management, and Workflow.
3) Prefer candidates to have exposure to multiple languages and development platforms.
4) Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint Experience
5) Knowledge in the administration and maintenance of the SharePoint Security Model.
6) Ability to type and program code to support the business decisions and computing needs.
