The candidate will provide legal support to the attorneys within the Intellectual Property Patent Prosecution practice area. Duties: will prepare legal documents and support for Life Science cases. Will work under general supervision and relies on limited experience to plan and accomplish goals. Will organize, index and maintain case files; Prepare sequence listing, convert manuscript to example sections, and format drawings; Conduct literature searches and review; Assist with landscape searches, IDS preparation, and sequence analysis; Conduct legal research; Gather case related materials including contracts, witness and expert files, and exhibits; File documents with government agencies and courts. Degree in biochemistry or a related area required; Degree in biochemistry or a related area preferred. Must have (2) years of related work experience; Should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word) and astrong written and verbal communication skills.
