Mobile Application Developer
We are looking for a smart, talented and responsible developer to join our development team to help develop our growing web and mobile portfolio of applications.
Experience:
Experience with Utility and Social API’s (GoogleMaps, UPS, Fedex, Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
Experience designing and building enterprise class mobile applications, including application distribution
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Mobile/Web portfolio of applications personally developed is required for review
Requirements:
Expertise with Web, iOS and Android technologies and IDE’s (Visual Studio, Xcode, Eclipse)
3 Years of professional development experience with HTML5, CSS3, Objective C, Java, .NET; RESTful, XML, JSON, JavaScript Web Services
A solid understanding of mobile platform design, development and memory management.
Experience completing an application and seeing it through the certification or app market process
Strong experience detecting and correcting memory usage issues and optimizing code for application performance.
Write maintainable code while working in a professional software development environment with Source Code Control, Agile/Iterative Development and Development/QA/Production Release Cycle depending on application scope and purpose.
Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced environment, managing to tight schedules, requiring a certain kind of energy and self-motivation
High school degree required; Bachelors of Science in Computer Science, Mathematics or similar a positive, but professional experience and portfolio will be key
Minimum 3 years’ experience with non-mobile systems such as Java and/or .NET
Deployed multiple applications to a public mobile app store or enterprise app store
