The Software Architect is an expert-level software developer who leads development of a solution architecture to break down and organize development of large projects. Through coordination with customers and stakeholders to clarify their requirements the architect will break down requirements into smaller solvable problems, make executive design decisions, and establish a solution architecture. To be successful as a Software Architect, you should be an expert problem solver, an effective communicator, and hold a strong understanding of the broad range of software technologies, design patterns, and software development principles. The Lifecycle Data Software Architect will establish the solution architecture to achieve digital objectives for our Future Vertical Lift platforms in support of the Advanced Vertical Lift Systems (AVLS) organization. These objectives will involve aspects of every phase of the aircraft lifecycle including design, manufacturing, and sustainment to establish the Digital Thread and Digital Twin to meet sustainment objectives for our fielded fleet.
