THE POSITION
The Email Marketing Manager will join an existing team of eight that drives execution of consumer relationship marketing efforts in order to generate revenue from the Email, Push and SMS Channels for various lines of LendingTree’s business. This role will contribute to the overall of CRM strategy and be responsible for driving daily results that contribute to long term strategic goals. The Email Marketing Manager has one direct report and may take on an additional direct report in 2021.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Hands-on development and deployment of a defined set of Email campaigns and in order to launch and optimize personalized customer communications.
Address customer pain points by maximizing partnerships with, and insights from, CX and Analytics teams.
Motivate, mentor and direct work to direct report(s) in support of team goals, and ensure that team is driving KPIs and OKRs.
Work within LendingTree’s CDP and ESP to set up campaigns, templates, audience segments and A/B testing,
Contribute to channel business strategy to improve overall customer experience and meet revenue targets.
Partner and collaborate with Product marketing teams to drive business growth through advised customer journeys.
Partner and collaborate with other Email Marketing Managers to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Email channel and associated workstreams.
Continual optimization of campaigns to increase effectiveness.
Track and analyze campaigns and journeys to inform iterative design constructs.
Work closely with:
Email Design/Dev team and Creative Design team develop copy and creative assets.
Data, Engineering and Tech teams as needed to create communication journeys.
Data Science and Analytics teams for Customer Models and Scoring
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field.
4 years of work experience
2 years’ experience developing corporate-level email campaigns
1 year of leading with or without authority
Cross-functional worker with internal and external teams
A strong background in email marketing best practices
Highly organized and methodical with attention to detail
Strong organizational skills to effectively lead multiple projects at a time
Self-starter
Effective oral and written communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Familiarity with A/B testing and other marketing testing methodologies

Sparkpost ESP Experience
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Experience
