Privacy and Corporate Counsel
Duties: Assisting in the development and management of Garmin’s external-facing privacy policies, cookie policies and related terms of use. Assisting in the development and management of privacy and data protection related contracts, including Standard Contractual Clauses and data processing agreements. Providing support to other members of Garmin’s global privacy and business teams, including in areas related to acquisitions and strategic partnerships. Evaluating the potential impact of legislative and regulatory initiatives and proposals. Collaborating with other members of Garmin’s global privacy and product teams to evaluate new products, applications and features to ensure compliance with privacy laws and regulations. Reviewing advertising and marketing materials to ensure compliance with applicable competition and advertising laws and mitigation of risk of claims Understands and applies. Performs other job-related duties and special projects as assigned by the Assistant General Counsel - Corporate or other in-house counsel. Serves as a resource on other corporate and regulatory issues.
