**What youll achieve**
As a Principal Software Engineer, you will collaborate within an agile Product team on a Remote US Location to work on cutting edge technology stacks and design and build data driven AI-powered products and services.
We are looking for senior candidates with strong technical background in services development for online commerce, with proven abilities to innovate and be creative. Responsible for solving highly technical and complex problems for several programs and projects. Leads the implementation of rigorous engineering excellence process and platform improvement initiatives.
Highly motivated, goal-oriented individuals who will collaborate with various stakeholders across Dell Digital and deliver high quality/HA/scalable/maintainable software that would provide excellent user experience that delights our customers.
**You will:**
Develop high quality, available, scalable and efficient software solutions.
Collaborate with cross functional teams of engineers, PMs, Data Scientists, Senior Solution Architects and execute through all phases of the sprint in an agile environment.
Contribute to the design and architecture of new or re-engineered software and conduct code reviews.
Work closely with the Product Owners to refine requirements, estimate development effort to achieve strategic goals
Be a mentor and coach for junior members in the team helping them to learn and grow

**Essential Requirements**
8 years of professional software experience with strong knowledge of at least one Object Oriented programming language such as C#, Java, JavaScript, including Object Oriented design.
Experience in building highly available and scalable RESTful services.
Experience in developing and operating large scale distributed systems and microservices via event-driven and cloud native architectures.
Understanding design patterns and principles for developing microservices
Professional experience with NoSQL and SQL databases.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with diverse functional teams
**Desirable Requirements**
.NET Core 3.x / JavaScript / Python
Hands on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with message or event driven architectures with RabbitMQ or Kafka.
Gitlab, CICD Pipelines & bash scripting
