Visiting Assistant Professor of Law
The candidate will join a group of experienced and enthusiastic legal writing professors and be responsible for teaching either two sections of required first-year Legal Research, Analysis, Writing, & Oral Communication I and II courses or one section of the first-year course and other courses as needed to fit curricular needs.Advise and support students through formal and informal means. Juris Doctor is required. Strong academic record-including, for example, law journal or moot court service is required. Several years of law practice experience is required. Demonstrated strong writing and oral advocacy abilities are required. Judicial clerkship is preferred. Legal writing teaching experience is preferred.

Note : The position is a 10-month, visiting position beginning on August 1, 2019, with the possibility of one additional 10-month term for the 2020-2021 academic year.
