As the Senior Engineering Manager
on the Customer Solutions (CUSO) team, you will be an integral part of the teams responsible for front end features built for BestBuy.com. The CUSO team is responsible for features ranging from the attach experience, the header and footer, the compare page, among other important features for the site. This role is to manage and lead two or three squads on the CUSO team.

Key Responsibilities
Lead teams responsible for a large capability, or multiple smaller capabilities.
Ensure the quality and integrity of the SDLC for your teams and identifies opportunities for improvement in how the team works through usage and adoption of recommended tools and standards.
Be responsible for defining your teams’ objectives and the key results they will deliver in a partnership with your team.
Mentor team members to be better technically at your craft, as well as skills, using your past experiences and new information gained via learning as your craft advances.
Determine hiring needs that align with the portfolio investment strategy and helps by leading recruiting and interviews when required.
Conduct regular 1:1s with all team members and manage performance for the entire team.
Ensure sufficient documentation exists for the products your team is responsible for, and that the documentation is maintained.
Understand and make decisions on trade-offs around solutions your team makes.
Keep teams focused on quality code and a regular release cadence.
Mentor newer leaders on the soft skills they need to lead and influence their own teams.
Ensure team members are active in their growth and development plans.

Minimum Qualifications
5 or more years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree OR equivalent relevant professional experience
1 or more years experience managing and leading engineering teams
Preferred Qualifications
7-8 years of relevant professional experience
2 or more years experience managing and leading engineering teams
Experience with modern javascript frameworks including React
