Director College of Law, Career Services
Duties: Under administrative direction from the Assistant Dean of Career Services, will perform work of considerable difficulty in coordinating and implementing activities and functions in a fast-paced, student centered, team environment. Will serve as a vital member of the career center job development team and will counsel and advise students on all aspects of the career development process as well as develop programs to expand job opportunities in targeted segments of the legal job market. Work closely with the career center job development team to increase employment opportunities for the students of the College of Law. Work closely with professional organizations, alumni, employers and other career service professionals to develop relationships and create job opportunities. Maintain accurate and detailed records of counseling work with College of Law students and graduates. Participate enthusiastically in Career Center team effort to advance employment initiatives and develop new initiatives for job development. Network with employers in the legal community to develop jobs for College of Law students and alumni. Engage with Career Center team to create and host networking opportunities for College of Law students. Physical presence at the workplace or the college is an essential function or requirement of the job. Perform other duties as assigned to support the goals of the College of Law.
