ABOUT THE SPORT ADMINISTRATION PROGRAM
The Sport Administration program began in 2008 and has experienced continued growth since its inception. The Bachelor of Science in Sport Administration has approximately 350 student majors. The Master of Science in Sport Administration is an online graduate program focusing on Interscholastic and Intercollegiate Athletic Administration. The graduate program has approximately 110 students. Future plans include adding a doctoral degree.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
This position will be responsible for:

*Teaching a diverse set of undergraduate and graduate courses including online courses *Assisting with program growth and development including curriculum and degree planning; and *Engaging in university, professional, and community service.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
*Earned master's degree in Sport Administration or related field. *Prior sport industry work experience. *Ability to teach multiple courses from the following list: sport marketing, sport public relations, sales, management, sport governance, ethical issues in sport, and sport law. *Ability to provide professional mentorship to undergraduate and graduate students.
 

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS CONSIDERED
*Professional and/or management experience in high school or college athletics or a field directly related to assigned teaching responsibilities *Ability to work collaboratively with university colleagues and area partners.
