MVP Maintenance / Stabilization
We are in search of one Full-Time Mid-Level Developer who can work in American timezone. The developer should be a Self-Starter and Enthusiastic about their work, as well as be able to attempt to solve challenges on his or her own (or let us know and move onto next task). Our team has technical knowledge to solve issues the developer runs into but have limited time so if the developer can dig in and solve some of them on his or her own thatll be great. The developer will be required to send updates every 4 hours and expect us to check in every 1-2 days until things are going smoothly.
Youll be working on a product that is a functional product but MVP stage.
Here is a break down of the required technologies that you mush have skills to cover. We would also want to see samples of your work before hiring:
Technologies
1. Mobile: Ionic front-end (based on Angular) w/ **
2. Back-end: Node.js w/ Typescript
3. Web-site: Angular 7 **
**Typescript classes used for all code
4. Azure Develops as our SCM and release system. Ill generally manage the builds and releases as I do now but I will be expecting he or she to get a general understanding of how the builds and releases work.
5. Git
6. Mongodb as main database
7. SQL for website database
8. Google auth along with integrations with email and social authentication
9. Linux Nginx
Developer profile
Some of these skills are more important than others, so if you have some candidate developers, but arent sure, we can go over them and pick the best one.
1. Full-time mid-level developer (or a couple adding up to full-time combined)
2. Full-stack but more back-end leaning
3. Proficient but not necessarily fluent in English language, must be able to talk technical terms smoothly
4. Skills:
* Technologies listed above. Should have extensive Node.js experience (preferable) -or- light Node.js/Typescript and other modern system programming language and async programming experience (.Net, Java, Python, etc) and feel they can move fast on getting familiar with Node.js
* Front-end: Up-to-date CSS/HTML/DOM knowledge, along with understanding of Angular components, controllers and templates
* Some mobile experience is a plus (Angular ADB, iOS and pushing builds and releases) but if not we can get developer up to speed
* Some experience with Mongodb or nosql is a plus but not required (since for general use its essentially json)
* Can follow high-level technical requirements and general day-to-day best practices, asks questions when needed
* Git/Github or similar code repo and having worked against a kanban ticketing system is a plus. Having worked in continuous integration / and with a build system is a plus but not required.
* Has run commands on a Linux machine, worked with SSH. Light experience is fine, we can fill in as needed. Nginx and service start/stop knowledge is a plus but these are easy things to pick up.
