Description

The Director, Product Management conceives of, develops, delivers, and manages products for customer use. The Director, Product Management requires an in-depth understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across the function or segment.

Responsibilities

Location: Remote

The Director, Product Management Leads all phases of the product life cycle, from inception to introduction into the marketplace, by developing products to meet specific customer needs and achieve specific cost and success outcomes. Once products are launched, monitors efficacy of products and uses customer and business partner feedback to ensure products are meeting customer needs across each customer segmentation, adjusting products over time to continue to achieve the desired outcomes. Decisions are typically related to the implementation of new/updated programs or large-scale projects for the function and supporting technical/operational procedures and processes, and implements strategic plans, drives goals and objectives, and improves performance. Provides input into functions strategy.

This leader will be responsible for workflow technology product advancements including core clinical system functionality supporting Medical and Behavioral Health Utilization Management clinical operations. Primary focus across Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial lines of business with some secondary support to Home Operations and Pharmacy.
This leader will have a team of approximately 20 Product Management leaders and professionals


Role Essentials


Bachelors degree
8 years or more of clinical systems, product management and/or improving technological systems
5 or more years of management experience
Experience building out multi-year product vision plans
Experience facilitating cross function team efforts
Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle, Waterfall, and/or Agile Development Methodologies
Strong communication skills
Experience problem solving and consultation within complex environments
Experience managing business partner relationships at all levels of the organization
Ability to balance different priorities and deliver high quality outcomes under pressure
Experience presenting, comfortable presenting to executive level leadership
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on leveraging feedback to continuously improving consumer experiences with demonstrated success


Role Desirables


Master's Degree
Experience in Utilization Management processes or clinical operations
Experience applying AI / machine learning to improve operational processes
Clinical technology delivery experience
