POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for performing physical and visual inspections of product and plant systems, documenting and calculating results accurately; taking corrective action when necessary (alert appropriate personnel to adjust process; identify, segregate, & isolate non-conforming product) and report results to management; any additional assignments requested. All team members are responsible for safety. This includes but is not limited to personal safety and food safety.REQUIREMENTS: Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in the Fresh Meats industryrequired or other QA type experience.Communication Skills: Must have excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills.Special Skills:


Must possess the ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals.

Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Must be able to collect data and enter into a computer spreadsheet program. A working knowledge of Word & Excel is recommended.

Communication skills – able to read, write, and listen

HACCP certified a plus

SQF Certified or SQF related experience a plus.Physical Requirements: Position involves heavy lifting (70 lbs. ormore).Supervisory: NoneTravel: None
