As a Controller, you'll be working directly with ownership and the Chief Operating Office as a part of the leadership team helping this organization continue to grow! The controller will manage a small team of accounting professionals in the day to day accounting by rolling up their sleeves maintaining the day-to-day accounting functions, accruals, financial statement preparation, and performing general accounting functions, as required.
Responsibilities:
Be a part of the leadership team by overseeing and supporting financial operations
Manager a small team of accounting professional
Manager and oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, job cost accounting, payroll, and cash flow management
Develop, implement, and maintain the system of internal accounting controls and financial reporting
Perform budgeting, forecasting and analysis reporting
Work with leadership to generate Work-In-Progress reporting
Manager the general ledger, produce monthly financial statements, as well as manage month-end and year-end closing
Coordinate quarterly accounting reviews, annual audits, and tax returns
Work with ownership and Operations to ensure financial directives are followed including: WIP, Month End Close, Year End Close, Project Status reports.
