PHP Developer for simple routing system
We currently have a flat file cms and would like to add a routing system to it. There are two types of posts; pages, and posts.
We currently have a PHP application that we have purchased [login to view URL]
. We have made some changes to the application but, still needs some work.
We are looking for a developer to:
1. Implement a robust routing system (dynamic clean urls). As of now pages are accessed by appending ?page=about to the url.
Example: Lets say we have the following files in folders such as:
- Content
- Pages
-- Contact
--- Legal-docs
---- Terms
-- About
--- my-story
- Posts
The url for pages should be [login to view URL]
Another example url would be:
[login to view URL]
or
[login to view URL]
2. For posts (blog posts) we would like to have the option to display post in following formats:
Day and name --> [login to view URL]
Month and name --> [login to view URL]
Numeric --> [login to view URL]
Post name --> [login to view URL]
Blog posts are structured like so:
- Content
- Pages
-- Contact
--- Legal
---- Terms
-- About
--- Story
- Posts
-- [login to view URL]
-- [login to view URL]
