Profile

The Financial Services/ IT Support specialist will have a wide-range of responsibilities in supporting software and end user technical support in a financial setting. The candidate will be responsible for gathering information from the customer to ensure full understanding of the issue and underlying causes. The IT Support specialist will perform Tier 1 troubleshooting and will escalate to Tier 2 as necessary in a financial environment. When business needs require, the candidate may be required to travel onsite to assist with training of new customers.
Position Responsibilities:
Provide Tier 1 technical support
Help customer remain compliance with standard guidelines
Assist customer with running reports and gathering information for call reports
Develop and own the relationship with assigned customers and ensure complete customer satisfaction
Help design and conduct customer training on specific applications and services
Position Requirements:
BA/BS Degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred not required) or equivalent Financial IT Help Desk experience
Experience in the financial sector (backgrounds in loan management/officer or Teller would be ideal!)
The ideal candidate will have experience in the financial field. IT training for proprietary software will be provided
Must have experience in the financial field. Either in banking or accounting or in a credit union environment.
Experience with Financial regulation initiatves is highly desired.
Fluency in MS Windows, Word and Excel
Must be willing to do some travel
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Must be an analytical thinker and comfortable managing complex data analysis
