Convert Report into Excel Spreadsheet
The program that generates my financial and patient data generates a report of people who are suppose to receive statements.
This report remains embedded in the program, it does not offer to be printed or saved as a Word or Excel document. (see example 1 - Example of Statement Report in Program)
It can be copied and pasted into Excel. (see example of report pasted into excel)
I would like to copy this report, paste it as plain text into an excel spreadsheet with the columns that I need..
When I copy and paste this document, some of the fields come over as rows. I need them to be columns in a specific excel spreadsheet (see example of rows to columns)
This report, however, does not have the patients emails addresses.
I would then like to merge the emails from another report (excel) onto the same excel spreadsheet and save it. The patients have unique account numbers that appear on both reports.(see example of bring emails from one spreadsheet to new spreadsheet)
One more thing: some patients have multiple entries because their statements are more than one page. I need to delete the duplicate entries (they only differ by the extra line Page x (1 or 2 or 3) so as not to repeat the emails to the same patient. (see example of duplicate entry)
i have attached a schematic of the entire process. I am looking for a simple program to perform the entire process automatically. Again, the content of the reports will chaage periodically but the format will stay the same.
