Tier II Help Desk/LAN Admin

Profile

cFocus Software Incorporated seeks a skilled, motivated individual to add to our support team on site for a government contract.
The position provides Tier II support and LAN administration services to the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) at Fort Lee Army Base. The position supports the DCMA user community by answering and resolving trouble tickets for DCMA network infrastructure, Windows AD user accounts, computer registration, desktop/laptop configuration, and applications.
ALL CANDIDATES MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE SECRET LEVEL CLEARANCE.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Combination of 2 years of experience in Windows XP, Vista, and/or Windows 7 remote and desk-side configuration and support.
Strong working knowledge of: Windows Active Directory (AD), OS configuration, workstation hardware configuration, peripheral setup and maintenance, software OS and application troubleshooting.
Effective verbal/written communication skills and customer-satisfaction delivery.
Education: Associate's degree or equivalent In Computer Science. Two years of technical experience may be substituted for education requirements.
DESIRED SKILLS: CompTIA Security Certified--Valid Department of Defense (DoD) Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program certification in the Information Assurance Technical (IAT) category, Level II at the time of hire.
Existing CE certification in enterprise desktop support (e.g. MCITP, MCDST, MCSA, MCSE, etc.) for Windows XP/Vista or Windows 7.
Strong verbal and written skills.
Well organized.
