This position is responsible for non-skilled service work while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to all Tyson policies and procedures.

This position starts at $11.25/hr.

Shift: 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM (Monday through Friday- possible Saturday's as needed).

Responsibilities: This team member is responsible for monitoring the Infrared Personnel Temp Monitoring Scanner they get assigned to, manually taking temperatures of team members and visitors if they don’t get readings, retesting team members and visitors when their temperature reads high on the scanner with a Nursing-approved thermometer, directing team members who have high temps on both the scanner and the manual thermometer to nursing for further screening, reporting issues with either the Infrared Scanner or the thermometers to a member of management, and enforcing COVID-19 guidelines to keep team members safe.


Monitoring team members behaviors, reinforces COVID guidelines, champions & educates others on following the guidelines for everyone's health & safety. Promoting the health and safety of team members.

Must be a leader with respect and influence/authority required to reinforce social distancing behaviors. A positive attitude, ability to communicate well, treats others with dignity & respect, influencing skills that are not punitive in nature, ability to appropriately handle conflict, has attention to detail and sets the example by maintaining social distancing and wearing of all required PPE.

Monitor and patrol designated areas where team members may congregate; break rooms, restrooms, locker rooms, hand wash stations, hallways, huddles and shift change. Ensure team members are social distancing (6 feet of personal space).

Ensure and educate team members on the wearing of company-issued face masks and PPE. Ensure frequent hand washing.

Educate on importance of protecting ourselves so we can protect others.

Ambassador must set the example; maintaining social distancing at all times, wearing all required PPE appropriately and championing the cause.

Champion Tyson's 5C's and concern for team member safety.

Use an interpreter, if needed.

Complete necessary paperwork and submit daily.

Addressing issues with HR and/or production management.

Qualifications:

· This person will be trained and educated on social distancing guidelines and the importance to communicate with other team members.

· This person will abide by social distancing guidelines at all times, wearing all required PPE appropriately, treating others with dignity and respect.

· This person will be trained how to monitor the Infrared Temp Monitoring Scanners and how to detect whether somebody temps high enough to do a secondary check.

· This person will be trained how to perform a manual temp check with aNursing-approved thermometer and how to escalate a failed check to the Nursing staff.

· This person will wear clothing, PPE, uniform to identify them to all team members, and what they are asked to do. Ensuring PPE is worn at all time, company issued face masks, frequent hand sanitizing.

· This person will coordinate with Nursing whenever a TM shows they have a fever of 100.4 or above so that they can get properly documented and go through secondary screening.

· This person will escalate any issues with the Infrared Scanner or thermometers to management.

Special skills: Positive attitude, ability to communicate well,treats others with dignity and respect, ability to appropriately handleconflict, attention to detail, high level of integrity and concern for teammember safety.

Communication skills: Basic verbal and written communicationskills and the ability to communicate with hourly team members and management.

Environment: Working in different areas of the facility, cold incoolers and freezers, chemical solutions for sanitizing foot dips and hand washstations, wet floors, electrical and mechanical hazards, moving objects cramped working quarters at times. This position will follow the production work schedule in the area of responsibility.
