RD& Team, Scientist is a dynamic role that allows you to use your scientific and technical skills to
interact with and enable a wide range of applications across different scientific disciplines.
Position Summary
We are seeking a Scientist to join the R&D team at Cellex. The Scientist will provide assay
development expertise to add new assays to the growing portfolio of test solutions offered on
the Cellex product platforms. The Scientist will design and perform experiments focused on the
development and optimization of new chemiluminescent based diagnostic products, reagents formulation and components manufacturing.
Responsibilities
? Develop new POC diagnostic tests and support manufacturing process development
? Optimize new and existing assay design and reagents formulations to achieve desired
levels of performance and stability
? Characterize assay performance, including specificity, sensitivity and reproducibility
? Work closely with QA to develop standard operation procedures
? Establish assay and product specifications and critical characteristics
? Interact with QA, QC and manufacturing team to facilitate design transfer activities
Job Requirements
BS with 0 years for Research Scientist, BS/MS with 2 years for Scientist I/II or MS/PhD
with 2-4 yeas of relevant industry experience for Senior Scientist
? Experience in in-virto diagnostic industry is preferred
? Strong understanding of fundamentals and applications of protein biochemistry,
immunology and analytical chemistry
? Familiarity with biological materials handling (BSL2) and safety
? Ability to work independently and on an interdisciplinary team
? Familiarity with GxP guidelines, troubleshooting and root cause analysis preferre
