DescriptionThe Doubletree Cedar Rapids is looking for a team-oriented Sales Manager to join their team! The Sales Manager will be working alongside the Sales Team to book group business. Corporate travelers will appreciate our proximity to important businesses, including Fortune 500 companies and government offices.What will I be doing?As a Sales Manager at Doubletree Cedar Rapids, you would be responsible for representing the hotel's services and facilities to prospective clients and customers in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:nRespond to and close qualified inquiries from potential customers seeking sleeping rooms, meeting space, food and beverage services, etc.nInitiate new sales, prospect, and qualify leads nHost and entertain clients and maintain client accountsnConduct property site visits and answer questionsnDetermine rates, prepare proposals, negotiate and close contracts, service accounts and analyze lost businessnDevelop plans and strategies to meet or exceed established revenue and room night goalsnPartner with operations departments to ensure full participation in servicing accountsnRequirementsWhat are we looking for?Since being founded in 1919, Hilton has been a leader in the hospitality industry.
