The candidate will demonstrate an ability to utilize face-to-face and online instructional technology tools when engaging students throughout the course learning environments and develop, plan, implement, and guide assignments, online or in-class discussions, and learning activities for assigned courses. Will demonstrate an ability to effectively convey course concepts in written and oral communications and demonstrate adaptability to facilitate courses with adult learners from diverse backgrounds. Actively engage students though frequent interaction that motivates them to succeed, and conveys a genuine energy and enthusiasm for their learning and guide students in active collaboration and the application of their learning in problem- and project-based learning demonstrations. Provide rich and regular constructive feedback, utilizing rubrics effectively for the assessment of student work, and acknowledging student accomplishments and demonstrate relevant and current subject-matter expertise, and help students connect concepts across their academic program and provide feedback to your program chair on possible curricular improvements.
