Mobile web developer:
Our client is looking for a seasoned developer that can focus on building next-generation web applications with a focus on the client side.
Top priority:
Ability to quickly learn new technologies
Ability to write light weight reusable code
HTML5
Responsive design
Object-oriented JavaScript
Ajax Mobile
CSS/CSS3
Experience implementing 3rd party libraries and frameworks
Must be able to operate independently, but also accept guidance from peers and senior staff – must also be willing to mentor junior engineers.
Nice to have:
Experience with PHP & MySQL
Experience working with APIs and Web Services
Experience building mobile apps with Objective C (iOS) or Java (Android) is a strong plus
Experience using GIT or other version control
Hands on experience in browser tools like Firebug, Web Developer and YSlow.
Detailed knowledge of mobile browser
Expertise in optimizing pages for faster loading, optimizing pages for search engine ranking, resolving cross-browser issues
