: WNEM, a Meredith TV station, is recruiting for a dynamic Local Sales Manager who is ready to take the station to the next level.
The successful candidate will be a sales leader who creates a positive culture for success through leadership, clear direction, teaching, motivating and evaluating sales efforts of our local team.
The Local Sales Manager will lead the local team in exceeding budgets by executing a sales strategy that delivers customized solutions through an integrated suite of media platforms: television, digital, and OTT. This position requires growing shares of direct, agency and digital business, as well as creating opportunities to develop significant new business to achieve quarterly and annual budgets.
Individual should be highly organized, able to coach a winning team and have experience in pricing and inventory management. Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field, or equivalent training and/or experience. Four to six years local television sales or related experience.
