Description

Market Development Advisor supports the Regional President, Humana Florida Medicaid, by leading strategic health plan initiatives in collaboration with senior health plan leaders and across the enterprise. This role partners closely with the leadership team, acting as an enabler for strategic initiatives, and ensuring execution of key priorities. Brings expertise or identifies subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts to identify, interpret, and produce recommendations and plans based on company and external data analysis. Advises executives to develop functional strategies on matters of significance and is charged with building alignment across leaders and the broader organization with respect to planning, communicating, and operationalizing programs. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities


Supports the Regional President as a strategist, consultant and implementer to ensure streamlined activities based on the priorities of the organization.
Accountable for developing and designing ways to build capability and drive change within the Florida Medicaid health plan while connecting to the organization's goals.
Leads the design, coordination, and governance of the annual strategic planning and operational planning processes.
Brings expertise or identifies subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts to identify, interpret, and produce recommendations and plans based on internal and/or external data analysis.
Review, advise, and develop communication plans and presentations for customers and internal stakeholders.
Ensures consistent visibility for program and project teams by monitoring and reporting business objectives, program/project achievements, and key indicators.
Ensure alignment between internal stakeholders and customers across all business process projects and services using proactive communication and engagement strategies.


Required Qualifications


Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree preferred.
5 or more years of consulting or strategic project experience.
3 or more years of managed care experience.
Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments.
Experience developing and executing communications strategies, plans, programs and events.
Excellent relationship building, influencing, and communication skills with all levels of management and employees.
Quantitative skills and experience creating compelling business presentations.
Strong presentation development skills.
Advanced experience Microsoft Office Suite, specifically PowerPoint and Excel.
Experience consulting with senior executives within a large company.
Experience working with sensitive and confidential information.
Ability to travel.
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experience.
Must have a separate room with a locked door that can be used as a home office, to ensure you have absolute and continuous privacy while you work.
Must have the ability to provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a home office (Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role). A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) is required.


Additional Information

Travel: 30%, if you live outside of Tampa, FL

(Note: There will be no travel at this time due to business travel restrictions.)

Interview Format

If participating in a SMS Text interview, you will be asked a series of questions to which you will be using your cell phone/computer to answer the questions provided. Expect this type of interview to last anywhere from 5-10 minutes. Your recorded interview(s) via text and/or pre-recorded voice will be reviewed and you will subsequently be informed if you will be moving forward to next round of interviews.
