We are looking for a Network Manager that is hands on and has experience managing people and a budget.
Responsibilities:
Develop and refine policies and procedures relating to security, data integrity, change control, and documentation of server systems. Ensures team is working in accordance with these procedures
Communicate with members of the senior IT management team, and constituencies about project progress and any issues, including needed changes in schedule, resources, or product.
In depth knowledge to architect, design, implement and maintain wired and wireless networks and supporting hardware and security mechanisms, including best practices
Troubleshoot network issues, complete problem determination and recommend solutions
Ability to present solutions to senior level management
Qualifications:
A detailed understanding of data networks and protocols including, but not limited to, TCP/IP, IPv4, IPv6, QoS, and VoIP.
Experience with Cisco equipment, Packeteer, ASA5550 Firewall, Infoblox, Web Content filtering solutions and wireless networks.
Experience with network security and forensic analysis
Strong coordination, organization, teaming and communication abilities
Management experience including directly managing employees and budget responsibilities
Ability to work under pressure and time constraints and automate processes
Successfully presents technical information
Seven to ten years of previous network administration experience and hands on technical knowledge
Proven leadership and analytical abilities including a genuine commitment to professional development and team building.
Experience managing teams to elevate performance
Bachelors degree required; CCNA, CCIE certification preferred
