Part-time Lecturer in Law-
The candidate will assist with the online Intellectual Property: Copyright (LAW-527) course. This course provides an introduction to copyright law, the application of copyright laws in litigation, and the management of copyrighted works. Through this course specifically, students will learn about the different legal mechanisms for protecting intellectual property and related state-law doctrines. It will also cover the federal copyright registration process and due diligence review. This course is intended for students who desire a general exposure to intellectual property law. This course will first undergo an extensive course development period to run from June 2017 to July 2017. Will work with partner provider’s team of instructional designers to create curriculum in our unique, interactive online environment during the course development period. Must possess a JD degree and have 5 years of experience practicing law and 2 years of experience mediating cases. Teaching experience is preferred.
