Were looking for a CAD designer who can help with the following job:
You will have a circle with a dimension of 85mm.
You should place 5 rectangles inside this circle with the goal of using up as much surface area as possible with the following conditions:
- Your shape inside the circle must be rectangles
- The rectangles must have spacing of at least 0,4mm in between them
- You are only allowed to use up to 4 different rectangle shapes
- There should be a 3mm padding around the circle border (So the actual usable area is 85-3mm = 32mm)
The same job should be repeated for placing also 4 and 3 rectangles into the circle.
So in total you can provide 3 drawings of circle with 5,4 and 3 rectangles placed in the circle.
The goal is that the sum of the surface area of all rectangles is the maximum possible surface area.
The deliverables of this job will be:
- Drawings as PDF
- Source files from the application you worked in (e.g. AutoCAD or similar)
- Rectangle surface area for each solution
