Legal Counsel
The candidate will provide legal advice and counsel to University administrators, including senior leadership, on a wide range of intellectual property issues. Will provide counseling and strategic advice on the commercialization of University intellectual property and technology as well as a broad range of related issues such as licensing, non-disclosure agreements, technology transfer, and trademark and copyright registration and enforcement. Will also be responsible for reviewing, revising and negotiating various commercial transactions related to the University intellectual property portfolio. Provide advice regarding in-licensing of third-party intellectual property, including guidance on copyright fair use, photography/video/publicity releases, website/app terms of use, and responding to allegations of infringement. Experience handling intellectual property matters preferred. Must be a member or eligible to become a member of the Pennsylvania Bar.
