A little more about the role
We need a front-end and back-end PHP expert, with experience building technically advanced and aesthetically pleasing sites using HTML5 and JavaScript varieties, with PHP and MySQL for back-end. This involves all tasks in the SDLC, from slicing HTML from PSD/Sketch etc., through to complex API Integrations and creation of WordPress (or other CMS) theming.
Our selected candidate will work remotely (from home or your desired location) from local hours of Monday to Friday 8am - 6pm, but these hours may need to be flexible based on client timeframes from time-to-time.
An attractive employment package is on offer, which we will tailor based on your location and cultural requirements to the best of our abilities. This will include paid leave a year and a good salary package.

Our ideal candidate?
The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
- Minimum five years working on a range of development projects, including the use of as many of the above technologies as possible;
- Five years advanced experience working with Wordpress (or other similar CMS platforms);
- Expert knowledge of database systems like MySQL and NoSQL;
- Experience with a range of JS Frameworks and Libraries;
- Experience with responsive development;
- Experience with complex animations using JavaScript;
They will also possess:
- Impeccable communication skills;
- The ability to work autonomously;
- A desire to lead and grow a successful development team;
- A business-savvy approach to software development, including problem solving thinking, ensuring you look at the best solution for a project, not just a quick fix.
