Associate Attorney (Business Attorney)
The ideal candidate will have the aptitude and ability to litigate claims for clients, including matters actively pending in arbitration or in state/federal court. Must have a JD degree and Michigan State Bar License. Should have 3+ years of experience handling business transactions and business litigation matters. Should have experience representing companies and individuals in diverse business matters, including, business start-up and formation, business acquisitions and sales, and commercial real estate transactions. Should have current experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial and business agreements, including, commercial real estate transactions, operating agreements, shareholder agreements, and licensing agreements. Experience in state and federal court is needed. Experience with alternative dispute resolution proceedings is essential.
