Bering Global Solutions, LLC (BGS) has immediate openings for a System/ Security Administrator Tier 2 to work on a government project in Boyers, PA. This position requires the candidate to work as part of a Security Operations Center team in a 24 x 7 environment. The ideal candidates will be responsible for activities related to security application administration and reporting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide operational/engineering support for the design, development, and implementation of the organization’s network and security operations center.
Monitor, tune, set standards, document, and support a broad range of security applications that will have transactional dependency on the application firewalls.
Post- deployment testing and monitoring to ensure rules are working as intended.
Troubleshooting system and application failures.
Testing and implementing patches and software modifications to mitigate security vulnerabilities.
Address and resolve critical system issues on a 24X7 basis including notification, escalation and coordination across the organization.
Submit ongoing status reports on daily/weekly/monthly basis.
