Senior Counsel - Executive Director, Regulatory
Duties: Research, review, advocacy and counsel on state and federal regulations related to the operation of institutions of higher education and professional training/certification. Interpreting regulations and providing a business sensitive, value added approach to the delivery of high quality work product and adequate legal controls, on a timely basis. Advising business on legal risks and laws, rules and regulations related to public facing collateral and marketing, including review and counsel on FTC rules and guidance. Providing legal support to the Senior Counsels for Transactions on the drafting of agreements including basic leases, MOUs and NDAs working with and occasionally under the direction of the Senior Counsels, Transactions. Providing oversight and management to junior attorneys and staff on various legal and regulatory assignments. Assisting with various government and regulatory affairs initiatives. Other legal project and duties as assigned.
