Java Developer - KOP PA

Profile

Primary Responsibilities:
* Frequently interact with various teams including clients to understand the requirements.
* Research and analyze various Interfaces, applications and perform gap analysis, POCs as required to meet client requirements
* Support OMS design, development and testing estimations based on business requirements.
* Perform hands-on design, development and testing with Sterling OMS tool.
Job Requirement:
• Strong customer interaction, organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent listening, verbal and written communication, reporting and presentation skills
* Very good understanding of JAVA/J2EE,XML, SQL and Oracle database.
* Strong understanding of software engineering principles, tools, and processes
• Exposure to Order Management, Shipping, Inventory, Purchasing, Financials, and/or Cost Management business processes
• Good knowledge of project management fundamentals
• Ability to interface and work with different levels within the organization, from users to management, in a highly interactive culture
• Strong business acumen and working knowledge of functional and procedural process modeling methodologies
• Self-starter with initiative and the ability to manage workload prioritization to deliver high quality work products on time with minimal direction
• Ability to multi-task across multiple concurrent projects
Desirable Skills and Experience:
• Understanding of eCommerce and Retail domain
• Fulfillment or 3PL experience
• Must have deep Java/J2EE programming/XML & environment knowledge
• Must possess excellent communication skills
• Must have Strong SQL & Oracle DB understanding
• Preferred 2 years of experience but not desired.
Basic Qualification:
* Degree in Business Management, systems engineering, Computer Science/MIS, Engineering or related field
* Understanding of eCommerce and Retail domain
• Must have deep Java/J2EE programming/XML & environment knowledge
• Must have Strong SQL & Oracle DB understanding
