Claims Supervisor
Duties: Administration of Workers’ Compensation and Auto Accident Claims. Coordinate and track litigated claim files with insurance company and legal counsel. Create and maintain accurate support records for all claims. Maintain accurate follow up system to track claims and legal files. Provide regular status updates and respond timely to requests. Maintain a working relationship and facilitate communication within the appropriate JBS Departments and external insurance, medical staffing entities, and attorneys. Coordinate individual medical case management plans for injured employees. Lead monthly claim reviews of all open workers compensation and auto claims. Make appropriate recommendations on return to work, or other case closure opportunities. Initiate the permanent placement process once permanent restrictions are assigned. Develop and maintain the distribution of claim management and financial reports. Maintain accurate workers’ compensation records and reports to comply with federal and state record keeping requirements. Additional duties as assigned.
