Profile

Travel/Casino/Gambling writer needed for publication content, option for multiple projects
Comped Travel is a budding travel and casino publication for players and industry leaders alike. Looking to build out the content verticals of Gaming, Casino News, and casino/gambling related travel, the ideal candidate will have experience in travel or casino writing, ideally, both.
This gig is for one 1000-1500 word article with options for more contracts and steady work if this works out for both parties. Initial articles will be assigned and will likely require light research.
The tone and style should be casual and informative. The target audience is casino players who like to travel. We recognize that each writer has their own tone and style, which is encouraged. We just ask that you write comprehensive, thoughtful, pieces about the casino and travel industry. An aspirational brand that offers players insight, please maintain a positive tone while avoiding exclamation points and passive voice.
