Summary:
• Incumbent will develop, update, and maintain applications and APIs for the collection and transmission of health data via web-based and mobile platforms, including the development of user interfaces for web-based and mobile platforms.
• Application development including capturing streaming data. Ensures research applications meet the latest web accessibility and security standards, communicating developments with all relevant stakeholders as needed. Supports software application development and maintenance.
Minimum Education:
• Bachelor Science in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field
Minimum Experience/Accountabilities:
Basic Qualifications:
• 2 years experience in application development and testing
• 1 years experience in deploying applications on iOS and/or Android platforms
• 1 years experience in SDLC implementation
• 1 years experience using Talend
• Ability to create support documentation for all new applications
• Strong teamwork
• Proven knowledge of the most current security and web development programming languages
• Creates web/mobile applications that address all phases of SDLC (software development life cycle)
• Develop and implement comprehensive application testing procedures and tools
• Creates and updates rich software documentation for web/mobile applications
• Assist in updating application development policies to ensure that all future applications meet the latest technical requirements
• Applications and Mobile Applications to provide actionable analytics for research to act upon (e.g. stickiness of app)
Additional Qualifications:
• Experience with healthcare data
• Experience with research workflows in healthcare
• Demonstrated experience working with research and development teams
• Knowledge or experience of Back-end software development is a plus
