****Job Description Summary
Responsible for the execution of AMI Meter projects within the south region of AS. This role works closely with the Senior Meter PM to develop and execute Meter projects with support of the Service Center.
Primary Duties /  Responsibilities
Sets and meets project goals and objectives based on the schedule.
Manages projects by tracking progress and controlling financial performance.
Proactively communicates with customers, managers, and Operations to update project plans.
Oversees projects to guide improvements to delivery plans, resource utilization, maximizes efficiency, and minimizes cost.
Manages project schedules, budgets, financial performance, and closeout processes.
Provides a safe working environment for employees and ensures that all projects meet OSHA, Corporate and industry standards for safety and health, and environmental compliance.
Qualifications Education / Experience / Background
Experience in AMI project delivery is a plus (not Required)
Bachelor’s Degree or PM Certification is a plus. (not Required)
Project management experience in the Meter or construction industry.
Knowledge and experience in Meter equipment installation and maintenance.
Understanding of construction safety.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Communication skills for dealing directly with customers, design and project engineers and field employees.
Computer skills to enter, maintain, and review data and project management systems.
Direct Supervision of Field Crews to meet project expectations.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment 
50 % travel required to project locations and meetings.
Managing multiple projects at different locations to facilitate communication with field personnel and customers.
Long periods of desk work to maintain project documents and systems.
