Description
The Senior Cognitive/Machine Learning Professional for Test and Learn Platform develops solutions that enable test and learn experiments to be designed, tracked, and their outcomes used in Advanced Analytics. The Senior Cognitive/Machine Learning Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Responsibilities
The Senior Cognitive/Machine Learning Professional, Test and Learn Platform, collaborates with analytic, data, machine learning, and behavioral economics teams to set objectives, approaches, and work plans.
The Test and Learn Platform is a software platform that enables Behavioral Economists to design experiments verifying the effectiveness of interventions, usually those informed by predictive models. The consumers of those experimental results are the businesses that want to validate the effectiveness of the interventions, usually with respect to improving members health.
The Senior Cognitive / ML Professional, Test and Learn Platform:
Researches and evaluates analytical methodologies, approaches, and solutions to enable Humana to become fully-data driven in our customer interactions.
Exercises considerable judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision.
Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.
Understands and enables the complete end-to-end feedback loop ecosystem of operational data, demographic data, predictive modelling scores, experimental test and and control group data, and outcome data.
Uses the cloud platform and open source software libraries as appropriate to implement the components supporting experimental test design and results tracking.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
5 or more years of experience designing, developing, and testing of software applications and/or infrastructure
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree
