We are seeking a motivated and innovative Application Development & Delivery Manager to build and manage solutions as part of our digital transformation and growth efforts. In this role, you will work on a variety of initiatives to ensure our platforms, applications, and services are designed, built, and released in accordance with next generation standards and frameworks. This is a pivotal opportunity as we transform our enterprise to align with the demands of a digital ecosystem to meet business and consumer needs.What will I do? Responsible for leading the development and delivery efforts for specific applications, platforms, and services within a business vertical. Estimate design, development and implementation efforts and provide inputs for expertise and capacity against scope, budget, and timeline.Directly manage software and engineering teams and resources to implement and deliver against scope, cost, and timeline.Accountable for the maintainability, supportability, extensibility, and performance aspects of delivered code base and solutions, point of escalation and resolution for all issues. Act as a resource manager for team members while leading their efforts to ensure top quality standards. Capable of operating within Continuous Delivery, Agile, Iterative, and Waterfall methods, resolve development team issues and raise any delays as needed.Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with development resources, delivery resources, product management and senior leaders. Influence, mobilize workforce, and lead teams to drive execution in a fast paced environment.Travel up to 10-20% for in-region for meetings, technical reviews, and onsite delivery activities.Ideal Candidate Qualifications:7 years of proven experience in all aspects of development and delivery management, inclusive of leading delivery teams and projects7 years of Agile Scrum and Waterfall and/or Iterative method7 years of experience with off/near shore delivery teams7 years of experience working across platform technology stack (front, middle, back)3 years of demonstrated ability in Continuous Delivery pipeline, cloud computing, API production and SaaS and PaaS integrations3 years of experience with digital/enterprise transformationsPreferred Qualifications:Experience in the insurance technology market and application suites (Marketing, Sales, Claims, Self-Service, PAS, DocMgmt, Ratings, RQB, CMS, Payments, IAM, Billing/Accounting, Data Mgmt., Microservices/APIs, eCommerce).Led resources and implementations across codebases, software packages and application frameworks (C#, Java, C , Python, JavaScript, .net, Spring, Node.js, Angular, React, jQuery). Managed resources and implementations Salesforce Service and Marketing Clouds.Prior experience with automated data extraction, interpretation, and decision analysis. Deep understanding of the current state of automation, continuous integration/deployment, security, networking, and cloud-based delivery models.Azure and/or AWS experience – native and custom services.Expertise working closely with marketing, operations, delivery organizations and related technical fields.The target salary range for this position is $136,000.00 to $181,000.00 (US Dollar) annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.  The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.  This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans.  The amount of the incentive varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan. The target salary range for this position is $136,000.00 to $181,000.00 (US Dollar) annually.
