They are seeking Senior Accountants to come in and play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of their real estate funds. This role is hybrid in Downtown Chicago. u003c/pu003eu003cpu003eResponsibilities:u003c/pu003eu003culu003eu003cliu003ePerform complex fund accounting activities, including but not limited to, net asset value (NAV) calculations, capital calls and distributions, investor allocations, and fee calculationsu003c/liu003eu003cliu003eFinancial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements for the real estate fundsu003c/liu003eu003cliu003eInvestor Relations: Serve as a primary contact for investor inquiries and requests related to fund accounting and financial reporting. Provide prompt and accurate responses to investor queries.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eCompliance: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies. Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and implement necessary adjustments.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eAudit Support: Coordinate and collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and other fund-related audits. Provide necessary documentation and explanations as required.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eProcess Improvement: Continuously review and enhance fund accounting processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and controls.
