Staff Attorney/Research Associate
The candidate will handle a caseload of family law and immigration matters for child victims of crime, abuse, neglect, trafficking and family violence in southern New Jersey. Will handle intake, case management, grant reports, attend regional meetings for child victims, build collaborative relationships with stakeholders, and design and deliver informational sessions for families and professionals about related legal issues. Will be required to meet with clients, attend court hearings, participate in meetings and provide trainings throughout the region. Will report to and be supervised by the Director of the Child and Family Advocacy Clinic. Should have JD; licensed attorney in New Jersey with at least 8 years of family law experience; 5+ years serving as a Law Guardian in NJ.
