Cost Controller

Profile

The Cost Controller provides analytical insight to optimize the financial performance of the AFEs, Engineering inventory consumption and assigned projects through:
Organize and produce efficient and timely reporting, with relevant content, forward focus, in accordance with Group instructions,
Provide input for operating cash flows forecasting for AFEs, Engineering inventory and assigned projects,
Maintain Fixed Asset Register and PPE reconciliation,
Manage monthly depreciation runs and potential impairments,
Management of certain Transfer Pricing tasks for related AFEs and assigned projects, in collaboration with the Tax Manager and Finance Controller F P & A
Identifying efficiency savings (e.g. cost savings and time savings)
Attend various meetings on behalf of the finance team and feedback relevant information to the latter.
Active involvement in maintaining and improving the Companys ERP system, continuously improving/introducing automated reports.
Ad Hoc tasks to support VP Operations, Head of Engineering and CTO.
Requirements
Degree level qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related subject preferred
Knowledge, experience and skills in finance, accounting, budgeting, cost control and commercial management principles
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
Good presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders
Computer literacy skill set includes MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
