This position will be responsible for Provide advice on the operation, installation, versioning and maintenance of all Oracle databases using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), Real Application Cluster (RAC), Oracle 10g/11g, Dataguard and Oracle GRID Control
Responsibilities/Duties
Program design, code, test, debug and create appropriate documentation needed for all Oracle Databases and Oracle Application Servers.
Work with the customer to determine data storage and access requirements and to be able to evaluate and recommend Oracle products to support user requirements.
Design and implement database procedures and processes supporting the application and/or facilitating database operations within the a Enterprise network.
Redesign and maintain records management/imaging solution for Oracle Databases and Oracle Applications to ensure system availability and supportability to serve as a viable platform.
Test and maintain the operational environment including environment parameters, quotas, and access permissions and systems interoperability.
Provide sustainment support for Oracle Databases and Oracle Application Servers to include emergency response to production environment issues and other activities to ensure the smooth operation and modification of these applications.
Job Requirements :
Qualifications/Skill and Knowledge:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science
Minimum of 5 years experience in Oracle programming, including Oracle 10g, Oracle Forms * Reports 9i and ColdFusion 5.5 for Web development
Ability to understand, create and maintain a data warehouse to support all required database operations
Expertise of Oracle database and other relational database concepts and techniques
Java, J2EE, refactoring, struts, JavaScript, JSP, JSTL, XML, SOAP, Representational State Transfer (REST), HTTP, spring, distributed, multi-threaded, multi-threading, JEE, algorithm, Java Architect, J2EE Architect, SOA Architect, Enterprise Architect, Software Architect.
Specialized experience of distributed systems and multi threaded programming.
Advanced data structures, API/service interface development and web development.
Effective written and oral presentation skills
Must possess or be able to secure security clearance
